Terms
The rules for using this site
This is a guide, not a booking service. The terms below are short because the honest version is short.
Using the site means accepting these terms
By reading chengduattractions.com you accept the terms on this page. If you do not, stop reading — there is nothing else the site asks of you, because it has no accounts and no purchases.
These terms can change. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date it was last revised appears at the end.
What this site is, and what it is not
It is an independently written travel reference about Chengdu: attractions, ticket prices, opening hours, transport and honest verdicts on what is worth the time.
It is not a booking agent, tour operator, ticket reseller or travel agency. It cannot take a payment, reserve a slot, issue a ticket, or act on behalf of any attraction. It is not affiliated with the panda base, any museum, any metro or rail operator, or any hotel and restaurant mentioned.
Nothing on the site is professional advice about safety, health or law, and nothing replaces the official instructions you receive at a gate or on a platform.
Accuracy, dates and the limits of a guide
Prices and opening hours change, sometimes without notice and sometimes mid-season. Every page that carries them also carries the date those details were checked against an official source, and that date is the only honest measure of how current the number is.
Where a figure could not be confirmed it was left out rather than guessed, so a page may be silent on something you wanted to know. Silence is deliberate.
You are responsible for confirming anything critical — a ticket price, a last entry time, a reservation rule — with the attraction or operator before you travel. Do not plan a trip on a guide alone, including this one.
How the pages may be used
Read them, print them, quote short passages with a link back, and share links freely. Personal, non-commercial use needs no permission.
Do not republish whole pages, repackage the content as your own guide, scrape the site at volume, or feed it into a service that reproduces it. Quoting a paragraph with attribution is fine; copying a page is not.
Text and photographs
The written text and the site's design belong to the site operator. You may quote briefly with a link to the page you took it from.
Photographs are a different matter: they come from Wikimedia Commons under open licences, and every image on the site is credited with its author, licence and source. The licence attached to each photograph governs its reuse, not these terms — check the credit line before you copy an image.
Links to other sites
Outbound links exist so a fact can be checked at its source: the official ticket page, the museum's visitor guide, the metro operator. The site does not control those pages and is not responsible for what they say or for how they handle your data.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, the operator accepts no liability for loss arising from reliance on the site: a missed entry slot, a closed attraction, a changed fare, a wasted day or an injury on someone else's premises.
This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and it does not affect your rights against the attraction or operator you actually bought something from.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of mainland China. Disputes are subject to the courts that have jurisdiction over the site operator's place of residence in China.
If any clause here is found unenforceable, the rest of the page continues to apply.
Changes
Material changes to these terms will be published on this page with a new date. Last updated: 22 October 2026.
